Relaxation Response                $40
Tuesday July 14th 7-9pm
At Sweet Paws Grooming and Boarding
6195 state Route 31, Cicero NY

Relaxation Response is a fantastic behavioral modification technique that I have been using with nearly ALL of my students for many years now. It is something I want to make more accessible to more people and their dogs in CNY.

It is a bodywork technique that can, and has, made dramatic differences in many dog and humans lives. From puppies to adults.

It has proven to help with fear, generalized anxiety, separation anxiety, phobias as well as normal handling and restraint skills, and helping dogs who have issues with impulse control and inability to self regulate into a calm state.

This is something you can easily learn to do yourself, at home. As well as develop it into a behavioral tool to help in a variety of training or rehabilitation applications.

ALL dogs can benefit! From rescues, to puppies. Any age.

Please contact us for your spot in this class, size is limited. Additional workshops will be added to accommodate interest.

Please contact me if you would like to be on a waiting list for a future workshop. This one has been filling quickly. You will be the first to be notified about a new upcoming date.

Happy Hour (controlled socialization education experience, dog and owner)
Times and dates currently by appointment only. Regular times offered soon!

Are you not finding good, safe situations to socialize your dog? Are you not sure if that is the best option for your dog, or how to safely go about it?

That's what Happy Hour is for.

It is to help you learn how to best, most safely, socialize your dog, according to his/her play style and needs. This will be done ONLY with dogs who are appropriate and safe for the age and temperament for the dogs attending. Puppies and adults will be accepted on a very limited basis, by appointment only. Privately if needed.

As we get to know your dogs we will make these social/play groups available on a more regular basis.

Please know, "socializing" is not always about playing, or even directly connecting socially with other dogs or people. It is about creating a successful, positive experience in a social environment. Just being in the same space as people and dogs, without hiding, or reacting, can be an important start for dogs learning how to cope, or behave, in public.

There is a lot you and your dog can learn and benefit from this class. And you can do it as often as you wish!

This will always be attended directly by a trainer to help you provide the best experience for your dog.

SUGGESTIONS? How about a group social?

Is there something you would like to see available in an occasional workshop format?

How about social outings? Meeting at a pet friendly store, park,  or restaurant with the trainer, and another like minded pet owner and learning how to create the right social experience for your dog to be an ideal companion for polite public access.

I used to call them "group socials". 2-6 dogs and handlers scheduled for a public outing. Any attendees must have attended workshops, classes or an evaluation to assure that you have the skills needed to participate.

Its been a while, and the weather hasn't been very cooperative. But its time to get prepared to get out and about!

Contact me for possible scheduling. You can get package prices if you would like to do this on a semi regular basis.

Semi-private / group classes, in your neighborhood!

Would you like personalized instruction?

With the benefits of being at a convenient location, AND less expensive than a private class?

If you have friends, relatives or neighbors who would like the same, and you can come together at a mutually convenient time and location, we can do this!

Talk to your dog friends and relatives!

learn basic control, behavior modification and obedience skills to get along together and create safe play dates and social outings for well behaved dogs and puppies.

Call for pricing and scheduling. An idea of number of interested participants, and availability, would be required.
